Individuals

Though I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, my practice revolves largely around individual clients looking to make changes in their lives. After all, marriages, families and couples are comprised of individuals with different needs, questions and paths. The ultimate goal in individualized psychotherapy is to guide each client through the process of recognizing what stands in the way of the life he or she desires— as an individual, a couple or a family.

Together, we will traverse the issues that hinder the life you envision for yourself. In our sessions, we collaboratively address matters of:

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Depression and other mood disorders

  • Self-confidence

  • Phase of life transitions

  • Navigating ruts and getting “unstuck”

  • Setting life goals

  • Learning to recognize and shift negative thought patterns

  • Grief and loss

  • Career-related challenges and goals

  • Parenting

  • Relationships

  • LGBTQ issues
